Yes it's called text wrapping, you apply it to the image

Why don’t you try it by yourself? :)

Text wrap with artistic text doesn’t make any sense, because artistic text has no automatic line break.

Standard text of course wraps fine.

The most problems, new users have: You have to assign wrapping to the wrapped element, not to the wrapping one:

Hi JamesCanning,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
Yes, it only works with Text frames. To do this you have to select the image/object, click the Show Text Wrap Settings in the main toolbar and select the Wrap Style you want on the top of the panel.  If you now move the image over a text frame the text should wrap around it.

Guys,

Thanks for the help. I did try it myself, it works fine with "standard" text in a "standard" text box. I'm making a card with a fancy font, Nautilus Pompilius, in green. I have a small piccy in front of it, and the piccy is selected, and text wrap doesn't do anything. I'll keep trying of course.

Well hell, I just tried it in a separate document in the way I said I was using, and it works fine. I seem to have found one of the situations where it doesn't work. :-(

James
