Sarper
In Affinity Designer I'm trying to align some items using "Alignment->Space Horizontally" with specified distribution (i.e. not auto distribute) in pixels. The distribution always takes the leftmost item as the pivot and moves other items to the right as I increase the spacing. Changing the pivot from the Transform panel doesn't help. Is there a way to set a pivot point to push items out from instead of keeping the leftmost item static and spacing the other items?
GarryP
You can rotate them by 180 degrees and then they will space out from the one that used to be on the right, then rotate them back, but that’s not ideal. Alternatively you can use Constraints – as per my attached GIF – to get something like what you want – just remember to have CTRL pressed down when you resize the outer shape. Again, not perfect but might be useful.
