Object edges constantly look "selected"

Recommended Posts

So: I make a new document on Designer for iPad (I have an 11" iPad Pro, for the record). I create a shape, say a rectangle. If I now switch to my selection tool and deselect the box, there continues to be a magenta border visible around the object, regardless of whether there is a stroke is applied or not. After creating another rectangle and deselecting it, that shape, too, leaves a magenta border around the new object's edges. Now both objects edges will be highlighted with a thin 1 pixel magenta border, even though neither is selected. This is very frustrating, since I can't see what the actual projects look like as I'm working on them, with all of the purple/magenta edges of every element visible.

Anyone else have this happen or know of a fix? This hasn't always been the case, either. It just started today, I believe. I'll try deleting and reinstalling the app. Hope that's all it takes.

No need to uninstall, it’s just a setting that can be changed. The lines simply indicate snapping candidates and can be turned off under Snapping settings. They won’t appear in exported images. :)
