Merlin
I have a rectangular image that I want to curve. I have worked out that 'convert to curves' only works on images. But when I convert the image to curves I can only curve the edges of the image and not the whole image. Particularly I want to make this straight line curved (as attached). Is there a way to do this? v_kyr
Not sure what you mean with curved here, something like this? Or do you mean instead like the shown ornament pattern on the image gradient background? Merlin
That's pretty cool but I just want to curve the line like an arc. It looks like you know how to do it though!
v_kyr
In APh you can use the lattice distort tool for that ... v_kyr
Or try to make a style out of the bitmap which you then can apply to shape objects ... Or vectorize it as SVG for vector usage in AD ... patternline.svg patternline.afdesign You can also try to make a brush out of the bitmap for some brush usage etc. Merlin 1 Quote ☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan ☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.
