StuartRc
Hi, just starting to have a look at the new rules features which seems to be working well..but I noticed that if you change the inset values on the Text-frame/general tab the rule can become offset/indented from the top/bottom of the text columns..Even though the top/bottom offset gap is 0 So 1 Acquired the text from the the sample Trifold brochure [pg2 section 1] (its using 2 fonts). Which is initially set to 1 column (you can do this on the brochure) 2.Change to 2 columns and add a solid rule 0.2 will do but i changed it to 1 3. inc the insets and the column rule appears to be offset from top of 2 cols 4. If continue to inc offset then get compounded The top +bottom Gap is set to 0 even though it is visually offset.. Tried same process with a new file and text frame + fill text..and it works OK! ..is it related to font content? Staff Jon P Posted November 15, 2019 Staff Share Posted November 15, 2019 It's related to the fact the text frame has been resized at some point. If you create a new frame it works fine, but as soon as you resize it you will start to get this behavior. It's logged with us, thanks Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com
