text wrapped left-right seems reversed

Recommended Posts

Interesting. For me, on either 1.7.3.481 or 1.8.0.499, it works correctly. Left specifies the left-side offset from the text, and Right specifies the right-side offset from the text.

Hi,

this a very mysterious thing !?!?

Today I made a leaflet with V 1.7.3 (latest), and there this problem appeared suddenly (I'm sure i did not had this problem before!?).
Next I created a new files for testing (with 1.7.3) and next I opened V 499 and did the same ... and the same problem happened - on V 1.7.3 & 499 beta.
Now  (hours later, system was meanwhile in sleep mode) I tried again on new files, and everything is ok this time (on both versions).
I opend now the finished leaflet again and it is carrying still this problem, left and right are reversed.

I habe no idea why suddenly the left-right is reversing AND why this happens on a new simple file I created immediatly after?
And why it is ok again on new files after some hours later, but still wrong on previous saved file?

If it is worth looking into it, I can upload the finished leaflet file with this failure? In that case, please give me an upload link ...

If you Flip an image horizontally you can recreate what you are seeing

Could that image have been flipped at some point?

If you select that image and Rasterise it then the wrapping settings will automatically change to what you would expect to see

Hi,

1. rasterize: I tried, but it doesn't change ... (maybe because I copied the content of an afphoto file and pasted it into the publisher file directly ...)

2. After so many years I now checked this the first time in Indesign for comparision ... surprisingly it's the same behaviour! So lets call it the known standard  :)
