Procedure to add hyphenations to Publisher

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Would you send "SIMPLE PROCEDURE" for adding hyphenations to Publisher. It was really surprising to find that Publisher did not contain languages of norther countries!

Thank you in advance!

Erkki

For what language, and on what OS (Mac, Windows)?

The procedure that I provided (which Callum referenced) is for Windows. It would (I think) work differently on Mac, and one of the moderators provided instructions for both Windows and Mac but I'm not sure where that is (or who it was, for sure, but Dan C comes to mind).

Hello Walt,

I have MacOs Catalina installed and I have a need for Finnish and Estonian hyphenation. I have "a light technical experience" and so I like to have "Affinity recommended" simple instructions how to accomplish a working environment. I found instructions for InDesign but they are not suitable for Affinity products, I think. I found some discussions at the forum but i could not figure out how to do it. I believe that such "as generic workflow" would help a lot of other international users, too!

Thanks in advance!

Erkki
