befehr
Does anyone know if there is a way to remove the line inside the pie during the creation of the circle or ellipse? You know, like Serif Draw and CorelDRAW does. Thanks
Staff TonyB Posted July 9, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 9, 2015 You can break the curve and then delete the end point with the node tool. If I remember correctly then this is also how we did it in DrawPlus.
befehr
Thanks TonyB, I understand how that works. CorelDRAW and Serif Draw have a special function that when you draw your ellipse you have the option of having that line show up or not. Having this function saves a considerable amount of time when creating a lot of ellipse shapes, like you might use when creating technical illustrations, and specifically when you use thick and thin lines to create, or simulate, depth and object separation. I can get around this by pre-creating a set of thick and thin ellipses for all the possible axis, but it is much better to have this tool.
