moolgavkar
Does Affinity support two monitors? Is a free trial available?
Staff MEB Posted July 9, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 9, 2015 Hi moolgavkar, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) 1) Yes 2) For Designer, there's a free trial available here. For Affinity Photo we will have a trial available in about one month. moolgavkar
I just purchased Affinity photo. How do I use two monitors? I would like to perform edits on one and have the images on a grid on the other as in lightroom. Also I see how to import single images. How about an entire folder? Can I convert a lightroom workspace? Can I use ProPhoto color space?
JimGoshorn
You can set RGB 16bit ProPhoto for the color space for new documents.
velarde
EDIT: Oops.. just found the "Separated Mode" This is what I was looking for. ------------------------ I also work in two monitors. In the main monitor I have all my tools and the image document I'm working on. In the second monitor I have open several images as references. How can i "undock" the images that I have open from the tabbed interface? I tried dragging them but they only change order in the main window. Can this be done? Drag other images that I have open in another monitor, separate from the tools? thanks, fjv Quote ------------------------ Fernando Velarde www.velarde.com Instagram.com/soyfervelarde
nic_
So I've tried to do multiple monitors, but on my 2nd (the one i use to design on) the affinity designer window shows up blacked out. (see attached screenshot) Now I tried opening the program on my 2nd monitor and it crashes every time with this message . My laptop is the new gigabyte aero 15, latest nvidia drivers. Monitor is Samsung T240 - Haven't had this issue in any other program. If anyone could help that would be great.
