someguy
Own all products on Windows and - every time an update comes along I ALWAYS have issues. Usually end up having to nuke %AppData% folders, run as admin, restart a few times, etc. I would love to see the update process across all products on windows .... be better. Update the Update. 1) store and remember my license state somewhere where I don't have to keep putting it in each time I nuke AppData. 2) Automatic update checks are nice - but how about automated updates. Download the update, prompt me to apply the update, etc. 3) When an update is coming - let me know about it in advance ... in App.

When you start the application it will tell you if an update is available and ideas to send you to the website to download it. Also, some of us never (or seldom) have problems updating, and others have constant problems. I'm in the seldom camp, and Ibelieve that it's really Windows issues when it's failed. For the ones with constant problems I also suspect Windows issues, or 3rd-party software issues.
