Save As File Formats in Affinity Photo?

True, but Save does not work if you OS is Mac and your working with Apple’s Photos.  OP did not specify OS.  This is especially true for most using Catalina.

Hi Christine19,

Welcome to the forums :)

Unlike in Adobe apps, File>Save and File>Save As will only save your document to the .afphoto format - which are files that only Affinity can open.

In order to save your file in another format, such as JPEG, PDF, etc, please go to File>Export and select your preferred format and settings here. I hope this helps!
