KodiParker
I just downloaded the trial version of Affinity Photo. This is my first attempt at using this sort of software. I listened to several of the tutorials and followed along but cannot seem to get the clone tool or healing tools to do anything at all. I have confirmed that the layer I am working with is a Pixel layer. The Opacity and Flow are both set to 100%. I am attaching a screen shot. I am hoping I can remove the reflection from the tombstone. Thank you! I appreciate any assistance.

smadell
In the Context Toolbar (under the main Toolbar, but above the image) you need to set the Source to “Current Layer and Below.” You are trying to use the Healing Brush tool on an empty pixel layer, which is a good way to do this non-destructively, but you need your source to include the layers below to get anything to work. AlanShore
Hello KodiParker, I made two selections at the pen. One for the face I lit up and one for the sides I darkened.
