iPad to pc

Hi Dunno,

Welcome to the forums :)

You can certainly create documents on the iPad, then transfer these to a PC to continue your work in an Affinity app - we even have a spotlight article on this here: https://affinityspotlight.com/article/how-to-switch-seamlessly-between-affinity-on-desktop-and-ipad/

My apologies, I'm not 100% certain what you mean by 'retaining all settings' however - could you expand on this for me please?

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!

I wish to keep all the settings I used to make an item and then carry on with it on my pc.if possible

Use save a copy to iCloud Drive with save history turned on in .afphoto format, login to www.icloud.com and download from there to edit on PC is one of many ways to do this. All settings are stored in the .afphoto file.

Yes you can.

You can even create in PC/Mac and get it inside your iPad to work on it. Everything will be functional.

Keep in mind that you might install your fonts inside Affinity App.

I work with Designer in Mac and in Ipad switching between them all the time. That's one of the magical things in the Affinity apps.
