Simon Gredal
I have a problem with the following SVG file: https://github.com/torproject/manual/blob/master/assets/static/images/home/svg/take-back.svg The drawing is supposed to have a few small greeen lines to the right of the keyboard. However when opening the SVG with Designer or embedding it within another freshly created empty document the green lines are not reproduced. I have attached two screenshots showing the difference between a correct rendering from Quick Look in Finder, and what Designer produces. macOS version: 10.15.1 (19B88) Affinity version: 1.7.3 Edited November 6, 2019 by Simon Gredal Minor typo corrected. Staff Sean P Posted November 7, 2019 Staff Share Posted November 7, 2019 Hi Simon, Welcome to the Affinity Forums! This is a known issue that is with development. Currently we don't support SVG Patterns which is what the green area uses. I've bumped it with development.
sam.c
I bought Affinity to replace expensive Illustrator, but now regret it. It does not render svg files properly. Illustrator never had that issue. Now I'm stuck and can't work on my figures. Sigh, back to Adobe...
