JetForMe
Hi. I'd like to be able to set the origin for an exported SVG. I tried setting the Designer document’s origin to a point in my vector curve by dragging the ruler orgin, with point snapping turned on, to one of the points in my curve, then exporting. Unfortunately, the app I import the resulting SVG into (Fusion 360) seems to think the upper-left corner is the origin. I'm pretty sure I've seen examples from others where other parts of their imported SVG is considered the origin, so I don't think that's the problem. Thanks! kokosmolch
kokosmolch
Same here, while being able to set the ruler origin is a good start it is crucial to define a document origin that is transferred to the exported document to improve workflow. (importing in Fusion360 without the need to manually move it around after import) Edited November 5, 2019 by kokosmolch wanted to be more precise
DWilches
Hello, Any solution on this? For positioning the exported SVGs in games, we need to be able to set the origin of the exported image. Thanks.

JHG
Hi all, I know this is an old thread, but wanted to resurrect instead of making the a new/same suggestion. We're having a lot of issues at the moment with our content work-flow with how SVG Origins are handled and having this feature would be a huge benefit. I'm also trying to get a bug logged where at a minimum the origin of an svg that's been imported should be maintained when it's re-exported again.
