I keep getting error messages when I am trying to both save and save as a document I have edited. Stuck in a loop where it says permissionn denied do you want to save and then when I click save as it comes back up with the permission denied message again.

I usually save my work in dropbox on my computer and have tried a number of dropboz file locations as well as trying to just save to my desktop - all of which has the same error message.

Any help greatly appreciated - as you will see from screenshot my laptop is on 6% and I'm worried to lost my afternoon's work!

Thank you in advance

Messages speak quite clearly - you are trying to save a protected directory (Users/aliceprier). Either save the files to another directory, or turn off personal folder access protection.
