I've been using the protractor assets added by one of the developers and it is very useful. However it doesn't see possible to select it like any other object ( to move it etc) except selecting it from the layers list. Is there a way out of this?

I'm not sure what you mean sorry? The elements would have been created in the app then grouped together and clipped. I've just looked at the files agin and I can see that you actually can't select them because certain elements are locked. The below file should work how you want them to.

That's OK you got it right!

Presumably I can delete the existing protractors and replace them with these new ones that you sent and add to my Asset list.

Yes that should be fine :) you might want to keep the old ones for a day just to make sure there are no issues with my ones as I'm not sure why these elements were locked!

That's good.

If I lock a group in a layer and send it to Affinity then nobody will be able to ungroup it or edit it?

OK. I was just trying to figure out how it was originally locked into a layer.
