pamchao
Hello, I keep getting an error message without any explanation what is happening. Is anyone else having this issue? I can export to PDF when exporting all spreads, but I cannot export the document as all pages. I need the pages to flow as one page each not as spreads. This is a new issue that I've seen. I am currently on version 1.7.3.481. Please advise if there are workarounds to avoid the error. Thank you. Proposal.afpub
Wosven
Hi, I've got an error message about the TOC (TDM in French) that need to be updated and overflowing text in some frames. I can "ignore and keep on" (it seems to cancel the action, like the Cancel button) or "Correct and keep on". The second option permit to export to PDF. Staff Pauls Posted November 4, 2019 Staff Share Posted November 4, 2019 The problem is related to the hyperlinks Removing them or disabling hyperlinks in in the export options will allow the export to work. If you need them I think remaking the document as a single page spread will be required We have a known issue outstanding for this problem and I've added your case to that. Tegwyn
Fwiw, PDF export with hyperlinks is still broken for me in Windows beta 502. I just found out reading this thread that this was why I couldn't export as pages, so I tried it in both production and beta versions and, sure enough, it starts working only if I turn off hyperlinks . I'd been working away under the assumption that there's just some messed up table I'd need to rebuild at some point to get it to export. Fortunately, Changing my document to not use facing pages fixes this for me (after a long wait for it to change all 400 pages, plus some tweaks to master pages that got a little messed up). It's just a little inconvenient, because now I can't see the pages side by side, but I'm designing it to look good if the user turns on facing pages in their PDF reader. Staff Patrick Connor Posted March 15, 2020 Staff Share Posted March 15, 2020 We have made fixes/improvements to this area (User File Failing to export with Pages selected) of the program in the latest customer beta. If you would like to try these changes the beta software is available in the forum posts listed below. The latest beta builds are downloadable from links at the top of each of these beta forum posts. Affinity Publisher 1.8.2.619 for Windows Affinity Publisher 1.8.2.619 for Mac These betas install parallel, next to the release version (they do not overwrite your release) and so the fixes can be tried in the beta without affecting your normal workflow in the release version. Once these programs have been through a full beta process the change will be released in a future free 1.8.2 update/patch to all customers.
