Picture frame Original Size not working

I searched the forum but could not find something about this (in a reasonable time):

  1. Create a picture frame and place an image in it.
  2. Click on the picture frame and resize the image (e.g. larger).
  3. In the toolbar click on the image info to open the image dimensions box.
  4. Click on 'Original Size' > nothing happens.
  5. Type in 'Scale' 100% > the image resizes.

I would expect that 'Original Size' would either be greyed out or does what it says.

I noticed that when clicking on the image under the picture frame in the layers panel and the clicking 'Original Size' does work as expected.

The behaviour with the picture frame selected seems to be unlogical to me.

We have made fixes/improvements to this area of the program in the latest Affinity Publisher beta. If you would like to try these changes the beta software is available in the forum posts listed below. Once Affinity Publisher has been through a full beta process the change will be released in a future free 1.8.0 update to all customers.

The 1.8.0 builds are in links at the top of these forum posts
