Auto-generate guides of pre-determined width x height given pre-determined margins. How?

Hello. First post here. Your app blows my mind everyday. It's incredibly intuitive.

Is there a way to auto generate guides within margins?

For example:

Letter Size = 8.5in x 11in

8in x 2 = 16 Vertical Guides @ 0.5in per guide

11in x 2 = 22 Horizontal Guides @ 0.5in per guide

Is this possible as of this version number?

From my understanding, it isn't possible to auto generate guides within margins.

Perhaps column guides would work?

But it sounds more appropriate for the Grid, rather than Guides, I think.
