It's difficult to match exactly, first I added a Levels Adjustment and set the Black level to 40%, then I added a rectangle over the whole image and used the colour picker to select the darkest shade of purple from your reference image. I then set this layers blend mode to Colour and the results are as follows -

Use the colour picker to select a darkish colour from the original, I got the colour below this way, then use the recolour filter and dial in

  • H: 294
  • S: 43
  • L: 16

To intensify the colour, try duplicating the "swoosh" layer and changing the blend mode to multiply.
