And, if so, will it still yield links to download new betas? If not, how will we get new betas? Or will the official release yield links to new betas? There will be a new Photo Customer Beta (the Photo Public Beta ends with Photo's official release) and you will need to purchase the Mac App store version to run it, otherwise it will work as a ten day trial. The updates will be managed like they are now for the current Affinity Designer Customer Beta. The application will display a notification when a new beta is available along with a download link to get it. I don't now when the Public Beta of Affinity Photo is set to expire. That explains what will happen once we have the new customer beta, but how will we get the first customer beta? That is, will the official release notify everyone that a new beta is available? Or will it be announced on this forum? Or some other way? I understand that we have to have the purchased version to get the new customer beta but it does not explain how we will find out about the first customer beta.
