JimGoshorn
Can't you achieve the same effect by using the gradient tool and assigning opacity values to the stops? I feel like I am missing something here. Obviously since you are not dealing with color, it is quicker but does it give a different result? Staff Lee D Posted July 8, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 8, 2015 Hi JimGoshorn, You can use both methods, the Transparency Tool is a quick and easy way of applying the transparency effect to an object. Using the options available you can achieve the same results with both tools, the choice is yours. :) Thanks
JimGoshorn
Thanks for the reply. Good to know I didn't miss anything. Will probably take the faster method though :)
retrograde
Yes I really love the transparency tool. I miss it when I have to work in Ai now. It's just so fast, less finicky fiddling with gradient stops.
