GarryP
This was far trickier than I first thought is was going to be (and the result isn't nearly as good as I hoped). I’ve only shared a low-res version as the high-res version is a mess. More experimentation with the various tools is much needed. If anyone has any tips for this kind of thing then please share them. Cecil
What tools did you use? Clone, Inpainting or others? Smee Again
Tats should be relatively easy with "frequency separation". GarryP
GarryP
Cecil: I used the Clone Brush, Inpainting Brush, Healing Brush, Blemish Removal Tool and all sorts of other things. Just experimenting with stuff to see what happens. Smee Again: Ah, yes, Frequency Separation. That looks very useful. There are some videos for that function in Photo and the one I watched looks good (and easier than the Photoshop tutorial I started to read). More learning and experimentation is required. Cheers. GarryP
Thanks very much Pattou. (I’m usually critical of myself when it comes to this sort of thing. If I was complacent about it I probably wouldn’t learn much.) I’ve done some more quick experimentation with Frequency Separation on the tattoos and it’s going well so far. Better results than ‘normal’ inpainting and cloning I think, and faster too. More work needed though.
