ikirbster Posted October 23, 2019 Share Posted October 23, 2019 I have 3 features that I need, two of them are supposed to be in Affinity Design but I can't seem to get them to work, these are: I cannot get guides to show I cannot find "show special characters" with paragraph text, also, no tabs tool? The third feature is "distorting objects" which should exist and probably does but I can't find it. The text features exist, I'm sure, in Publisher, which I have but I don't like to do single page design in Publisher. I consider that more for documents and multi page documents. I understand if you don't agree with me on where the features should reside but it seems to me that these features must be in Designer. I'm not sure how easy that would be to do on a Mac but I'll look into it. As a Graphic Designer, I think that the distort tool should be a priority as well as basic paragraph text tools. Of course I obviously don't speak for everyone but Illustrator has these tools and for those of us with a background in Adobe products, it would be a big help. I have upgraded to Mac OS Catalina and my CS6 products no longer work. My bridges have been burned, I'm all in with Affinity products now. Thanks for the quick replies.
