My registration number ?

I just downloaded your Affinity Photo through my iMac AppStore, paying €54,99. It seems to work OK but I cannot find any confirmation of my registration number in the App. Is it OK like that ?

I'm asking because, just before buying Photo from the AppStore, I had already downloaded a free version of the same app from your web site, valid for 10 days - now after the new AppStore download the app seems just the same as before: but still valid for 10 days or fully purchased ? Where may I verify ?

You would only have a product key if you had bought directly from us. The Apple version is validated via their Store so does not need a key.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, Piero.

If you installed the app via the Mac App Store (MAS) it will be the full purchased version. The trial version is not available from the MAS.

As @SFurniss posted while I was typing, you don’t need a product key for the MAS version. The purchase is tied to your Apple ID.

So basically the MAS version REPLACED the free version in my /Applications folder - and I'll get updates automatically through the AppStore.

If you are only seeing one version of the program in your application folder then the Apple Store version will have overwritten the prior version you downloaded from our website.

And if you’re seeing both versions, just drag the trial version to the Trash (and empty the Trash to get rid of it completely).
