Nixart
I'm on Windows 10, drawing with a Huion 22in drawing monitor. In Affinity Designer and Photo, every time my stylus approaches the screen, the eraser tool is activated. This'll happen several times while trying to select another tool. Clip Studio and Photoshop don't seem to have this issue. Thanks. Father ODD Creations
Staff Gabe Posted October 21, 2019 Staff Share Posted October 21, 2019 Hi @Nixart, I know this sounds obvious, but what you're describing happens when you use the eraser end of the pen, instead of the tip. Thanks, Gabe.
Father ODD Creations
I'm having the same issue. Very annoying, Im also using HUION GT-221 Pro Monitor on WINDOWS 10 as well. My stylus doesnt have an eraser on the end that I'm aware of.
Staff Gabe Posted December 5, 2019 Staff Share Posted December 5, 2019 A quick google search shows that many others have this issue in other apps, which led me thinking it's more of a driver issue. We don't have that model of Huion here, but it looks like there's an option in Huion Preferences to disable "Eraser Detection". See if yours has that option and if it works. Father ODD Creations
@Gabe I cant believe I didn't think about the obvious . I rarely use the buttons on my stylus pen and forgot that the driver automatically has the SWITCH BRUSH option activated on the stylus pen. Needless to say "problem solved". Thanks for triggering my brain to think properly. Gabe
tribalcarver
This is still happening after I disabled the switch
