I'd love to see a test document for this issue because I wasn't able to duplicate it when it was previously reported. Check all of your TOC and Index style definitions, especially which styles each is based on. I tried doing silly things like basing Heading 1 on Index Entry 1, and Index Entry 1 on Heading 1, and TOC 1: Heading 1 on Index Entry, but I couldn't find any way to trigger the issue. Also, is your TOC in its own text frame(s) with no other text? Is your Index in its own text frame(s) with no other text? I consider those best practices to avoid issues. Unlike other apps, Affinity provides no indication of where the special TOC and Index content starts and ends and it's easy to mess it up. Staff Dan C Posted April 5 Staff Share Posted April 5 Thanks for your post @viterzbayraku; 51 minutes ago, viterzbayraku said: AP v2.0 This thread is for Affinity V1 apps, and as confirmed throughout by myself and other Affinity Forum members, this was not an issue that was replicable in V1, therefore no bugs were logged with our team. If you are truly using Affinity v2.0, then this may explain the issue you are having. Please update to the latest update, v2.4.1, as many bug fixes and improvements have been added between these versions. If you are already using Affinity V2.4.1, or continue to experience the same issue after updating to this version please create a new thread in the relevant section of the Forums (depending on if you are using Windows or macOS) with as much information as possible and a copy of your file, and our team will be happy to assist and advise further. Please post this in this forum for macOS bugs in v2. I believe you're on macOS. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/forum/127-v2-bugs-found-on-macos/ If you're having the issue with an index appearing in the table of contents, please review this post and ensure that you haven't accidentally included an index style in the table of contents.
