grapher Posted October 19, 2019 Author Share Posted October 19, 2019 problem is, i need to tailor manual from different versions of software (and therefore different manual versions) . So my idea of workflow is, that i will just have each version in separate file (talking about approx. 50 different files) and just pick the right versions together in some kind master document... Trevor J Richens Posted October 20, 2019 Share Posted October 20, 2019 I may be doing something similar but on a smaller scale with only four separate child files. I make updates to each of these and export the new version to PDF. Then in the master document I import the PDF files. When the child PDF files get updated, opening the master document detects a change in the modifed child PDF files and I just update themcto get the changes into the master document.
