Niall123492
When I create a new artboard from an existing one my ability to snap to the grid stops working, with the snap being a little off the grid lines. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem?
Staff Gabe Posted October 18, 2019 Staff Share Posted October 18, 2019 Hi @Niall123492, What do you mean by "Create a new artboard from an existing one"? Thanks, Gabe.
Niall123492
I hold the 'alt' key and drag a new artboard from an existing one and in my new artboard when trying to use any tool it will not snap to the grid lines.
Staff Gabe Posted October 21, 2019 Staff Share Posted October 21, 2019 After you've dragged your copy, you would have to release ALT. When using the move tool ALT ignores snapping
Niall123492
Yes I know this, I have the Alt key released at this stage as I am trying to do work within the artboard I just dragged. The snapping of objects within these artboards are no longer snapping to the grid.
Staff Gabe Posted October 24, 2019 Staff Share Posted October 24, 2019 Can you attach a screen recording of this in action please?
