There's also a command there to reset the Studio on the bottom if needed. Let me know if you still have trouble. Different name for the same thing. There is no Drop Shadow in the effects layers available in any of the Affinity products. Use Bevel and Emboss as effect, then you can adjust the light direction so the shadows do not go out on every side. Took me some time to figure it out too. Only if you don't set these controls the shadow spread equally to all sides. That type od effect is typically known as a cast shadow or long shadow and it's not available in Photo (other than building it manually).
