Tinkernick
Is there an option (or better yet, a keyboard shortcut) to temporarily force bandboxing (see image)? I'd like to select multiple ungrouped elements within / on top of multiple ungrouped, unlocked elements without having to click on each individual one or find an empty area from which I can draw the box without moving layers underneath. firstdefence
Which app are you using? There is a setting in Preferences, see image below, that enables selection if selection marquee intersects the object/s, having this unchecked means you have to pull the marquee around the whole object/s. Tinkernick
Thank you for the response - I'm using Affinity Designer. I actually just found the answer by trying out different keys! Pressing Alt + dragging it out leaves the objects underneath unchanged. Problem solved. Cheers Nick firstdefence
