frobert2deg
Hi, just installed 1.7.2 (upgraded from a 1.6 version). Now I got quite an annoying flicker. see video. How to fix this? Media1.mp4
Mark Ingram
This looks like an issue with your graphics driver (it's failing to fill the rectangles of the rulers). Do you have a 1.6 version still installed that you could test this with? What GPU are you using for display (it's shown in Preferences). And uninstall / reinstall of drivers may fix this. Failing that, what Windows Display Scale do you have set? 100% 150% etc? Chris B and frobert2deg
frobert2deg
Hi Mark, thanks a lot for your response! Everything works fine after updating the graphics drivers. It was just so weird, 1.6 worked fine and after installation of 1.7 I got these flickers... Mark Ingram
Mark Ingram
Thanks for the update @frobert2deg, I'm glad you're back up and running. Very odd how that might have happened. Did the 1.7 installer prompt you for a restart? Perhaps an existing driver update was pending before 1.7 got installed? frobert2deg
frobert2deg
My computer is administered by the university IT-department and I have not had any system updates in the last days; I only received AD 1.7 and a few other app-updates as part of the latest update package, but as said no system updates were included in the package. Anyhow, I have a local admin, which I can use for system updates if required, which I did, thanks to your hint with the drivers!
