  1. Here's an example mockup for playing around over Xmas, so to say your individual customizable xmas style coffee mug. This APhoto mockup example has been mainly done with bitmap layers and contains an embedded/places APhoto mug file on top of a common mug on wood bitmap. Where the embedded APhoto mug is the main customizable portion of this mockup and can be changed to individual needs in terms of coloring or the mug front text and object placements. The above image shows the selected embedded/placed in APhoto layer and how to open that in order to edit it. Once opened certain things can be changed/edited inside that embedded file ... ... some predefined placed items like example text and xmas silhouettes have been placed as vectors instead (for easier modification). Note however that the main mug shapes and masks are bitmaps though, so the mug colors have to be changed with bitmap/raster color tools. The corresponding sample mockup file: xmas_mug_mockup.afphoto Have a nice Xmas time!
  2. In case you have to bake cookies, here are some christmas theme cookies as vector assets (thus you can change or add things to your likes), for reusage in Affinity Photo & Designer & Publisher. xmas_cookies.afassets Have a nice time!
  3. Yes, it's that time of year again. My Christmas video is made with a 'borrowed' image, chopped up and manipulated with Affinity Photo, animated with Anime Studio (a third-party package marketed by Serif a few years back) and brought together in Serif MoviePlus X6. Merry Christmas!

    Xmas FB Cover

Those who have a FB account may want to place something Xmas related there as a FB cover. Well with AD/AP you have endless possibilities here to make some cover images, be it out of vector and/or bitmap drawings, photos etc. - Usually I tend more to use some of my Winter time shots here for such things ... ... though of course it don't have to be always photos. So here is a quick made AD Xmas example ... Though you can add some style fills (below), or even better some vector or bitmap snowflakes, stars, etc... or whatever you like here ... BTW I used the following vector drawn christmas motive for the cover image shown above ... ... the font used for the motive is Great Vibes, but you can apply whatever you like here. Here are the corresponding AD files: xmas_fb_cover.afdesign xmas_round.afdesign Have a nice time!
  5. My tribute to (or, to put it another way, theft from) the great Charley Harper. First of probably several Xmas card ideas I'm throwing around for the coming season.
  6. I've decided to experiment and try to design a range of Christmas cards. This is my first offering! I just wanted to create something fun and fresh looking, please tell me what you think.. Thanks Craig.
