I just bought some clip art with a white background and I was hoping it would be super easy to select the image (without the white background) and drop it in to my collage. I thought the photo would come with a cutout but that doesn't appear to be the case. Is there an easy way to select those small details on the branches?
Just purchased Affinity. I am looking for help in changing the background to white on a number of product shots I have. Once I make the selection of the product (book, shoes etc.), that is where I get stuck because I am not sure how to replace the background with a solid white color. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Dave D.
I'm running the Affinity Photo Trial and one of the things I need to switch to Affinity is exporting reasonably large PNG-8 files. I've run into a problem where with big PNG-8s, I am seeing what looks like small bits of corruption. It's most clearly seen with white background (I looked at some of the other posts and tried setting matte to both transparent and white), but I've also had weird pixel placement in other parts of colour images. Basically if you look below the gradient you can see a pattern of tiny dots spreading their way down in angled lines across half the page. The pattern varies when I do the export. My export settings are: Lanczos 3 (seperable), RGB 8-bit, Palettised, Automatic Palette, 256 Colours I've attached the PNG as well as the source file. affinitybug.afphoto
