  1. Hello, is this possible to fix this photos with Affinity Photo to be easier for reading and printing ( especially that ). Main goals: Make background paper white Make text contrast Remove shadow - all background to be close to white or white. I know that sample resolution is very low which complicates this task. Thanks for help
  2. Greetings, I'm sure this may have been answered already, but I am having a big problem with exporting in Publisher and Designer. I'm really hoping someone can help with this... I've created a book cover for print, for a spiral bound book (which does not have a spine), and even though I have made the document with a transparent background, I always get a white background on PDF export. I have tried pretty much all exporting options. I have even exported front and back cover separately and then placed them in a full spread document, but still there is a white background where there should be a transparent one. Since my book is not published yet I've covered the artwork with rectangles, however the artwork for both front and back cover is fully rasterized (except for text which I choose to export as curves). Does anyone have any ideas? Does this happen upon grouping certain layers? Or maybe a bug with the Designer cropping tool? I also tried the solutions on both of these forums, but with no success: White bleed exporting bug Bleed always white
  3. Is it possible to create an infinity curve effect with affinity photo. Applying a white background to full length portrait is straight forward but doesn’t seem produce an infinity curve? The impression of depth seems to be missing with a plain white background. With a background that is complicated the depth of field tool could be used, With a patterned background (e.g. polka dots) a combination of the depth of field and perspective tools could be applied My question is how could it be done with a single colour? White, grey or red for example. Any help would be appreciated or if someone could point me in the right direction.
  4. Is there a way to remove white background like in Photoshop to make an image with transparency and then save it as PNG?
  5. I just bought some clip art with a white background and I was hoping it would be super easy to select the image (without the white background) and drop it in to my collage. I thought the photo would come with a cutout but that doesn't appear to be the case. Is there an easy way to select those small details on the branches?
  6. Just purchased Affinity. I am looking for help in changing the background to white on a number of product shots I have. Once I make the selection of the product (book, shoes etc.), that is where I get stuck because I am not sure how to replace the background with a solid white color. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Dave D.
