  1. I added a couple of GIFs as an example of what's going on because I'm not entirely sure how to describe it. The original file is also attached to this post. Example 1 - The brush preview seem to be working incorrectly. Note that I am NOT clicking anything, just moving the mouse. The only way to get rid of the visual glitch is to zoom in or out. https://i.imgur.com/bK3SHFl.gif Example 2 - Toggling this effect causes the same or a very similar issue where the image is not updating as it should and requires me to zoom to clear the visual error. https://i.imgur.com/gRqyQUk.gif **System Information** Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.18362 64 Bits Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1080 Ti/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 430.86 Memory: 32GB RAM - 2x16GB 2400hz Affinity Photo version: 1.7.1.404 Melchior Toon Test.afphoto
  2. I think the snap tool need a better ways of communicating to what it snap to and better UI. Because, right now, it looked like a mess. I think about a separate windows for the snapping settings so you don't need to click to the snapping settings icon on the top every time. I change my snapping settings oftenly and it's not comfortable to always need to go to the top of the interface and look at the block of text everytime. If there is already existed a way to make it a separate window please let me know.
  3. Colour swatch/sampler on adjustment slider sits outside Layer-Adjustment/Recolour Dialogue Box when slider moved 100% left and when scrubbing on slider element is mis-aligned NB: not sure whether bug or deliberate to make text label [Hue] visible.

    My Visual Journal

I decided to create visual journal to keep things organized. Due to work, i won't be able to post regularly. But i will try to keep things organized here. You can check out my Dribbble account to see my work. I haven't started posting work on Dribbble using AD yet as i got the software for 2 days only. But i would soon. You can also checkout out my DeviantArt account where i upload the source file of the design if you are interested in downloading the files and examining.
  5. Here is a more general version of a visual shortcuts explorer for Affinity Tools, which can show up both, the Affinity Designer + Photo keyboard shortcuts for Win/Mac (in English or German language), on different choosable localized keyboard layouts. AffinityShortcutMapper.zip To use it, extract the compressed archive and navigate into the "/AffinityShortcutMapper" folder, there open the HTML page index.html locally in your default or prefered web browser and start exploring the various shortcuts! Note: for the Chrome web browser you might try instead to locally launch Chrome the below shown way (due to it's default security settings) in order to allow file:// protocol access for it ... > "C:\PathTo\Chrome.exe" --allow-file-access-from-files See also this related posting.
  6. Hi, [This is a repost of what I posted last week – somehow it missed the attention of Serif/Affinity folks. Thanks for reading! https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/37639-node-control-handles-%E2%80%93-distinguishability-in-designer/?p=187464] Request for better visual contrast between Smooth Nodes and their Control Handles. Blue Circles, all! Because the Control Handles are only distinguishable by being a bit smaller, when you've selected a bunch of nodes, it can be a real visual challenge to sort them out. It's not a big deal if you're mostly drawing straight lines. But when you draw complex, organic shapes (like sketching in vectors with a stylus), you get long lines full of nodes, and when you select them, it looks like a string of blue Christmas lights! Click attached JPG, 2 views of the same path: Top is with nodes unselected, Bottom is selected.) The Control Handles make it look like 3 times as many nodes. Personally I'd prefer if Control Handles were either - a different colour than nodes, or - a different shape, or - both. (Or customizable in Prefs!) Thanks, - pbass
