  1. I have tried several EPS files and it's a hit or a miss, more often a miss. I have downloaded from a popular royalty free source and I get different results. It open perfectly within Adobe Illustrator and I can copy and paste with little change. If I try to open the EPS direct from within Affinity Designer, it is useless and become rasterized. I even tried placing it instead with no change in result. Is there a work around? Reason I ask this - is I am an almost 30 year veteran user of Adobe and finally cancelling my forced subscription and switching over to Affinity products instead. But that's a discussion for another day and another forum. I attached screen shots of the illustrator and the affinity designer detailed results... Should note that the "placed EPS" produced the same result as opening direct within Affinity Designer. The unlabeled screen shot is what the file looks like from with AI (the way it's supposed to be).
