Here are some examples of the art I have created using Affinity Photo alongside Fotosketcher and Corel Paint It! based on free images from Unsplash. I find the Tonal Mapping Persona remarkably useful in achieving some impressive effects.

Hi, First of all, I want to apologize for my English, I'm French and it's not easy. :p Otherwise, I noticed a "bug" in the "tone mapping persona" when we try to open a new fusion HDR it does not open the tone mapping persona ... While I checked on the Mac version, it opens the persona in question. I also noticed some bug when exporting photos in "files" on my iPad: once the destination given for the export, the export window becomes white and it is impossible to do any manipulation; I am forced to restart the application. Thank you. Tom Jouault

Hi, I have question about the Tone Mapping Persona tools which I really love. I would like to better understand what is happening under the hood when using Tone compression tool and Local Contrast. Usually for realizing what some tool does I use SliceTool in Nuke, which shows me what is happening with the curve after using the tool. On images below we see what tonemap tools do to the curve of the linear gradient ramp. Some results are pretty crazy like when local contrast is combined with Tone Processing. I thought that if I apply same curve as I got from Tone Processing with a normal Curve Adjustment I will get same result, which is not truth. Here is an example. I would like to know what is happening to the image under the hood with Tone Processing and Local Contrast. I am curious if this effect is possible to replicate with other adjustments or tools. For example lately I use 3DLut Creator with Affinity, I am interested if this effects are possible to recreate with tools in 3DLut Creator and save it to .cube file. If anybody knows more about this topic please enlighten me.

Developping Raw Files, AP 1.5.2.69 very often does not recognize camera data and subsequently will not perform lens correction. In Raw persona as well as in tone mapping persona (new HDR stack..) the display shows 0 or "no camera data" text instead of lens name when opening GH-4 Raw file(s). This behaviour seems to change from time to time without notice. But in spite of investigating that for a while I could not find a reason behind that so far. The only thing I can tell is, that the same Raw files opened with Photoshop CS 6 do not show any innormal behaviour and lens data are always displayed in correct manner. The same is valid for ACDSee Ultimate 10. Please advice what I could try to improve that disturbing behaviour. Edit: On Windows 10 notebook the problem seems not to happen. Best regards

Hi. This is my first post. Can someone please tell me, or point me to a tutorial as to how to use the tools, especially the eraser, in the Tone Mapping Persona. Ideally what I would like to do is erase some of the effect to the tone mapping on my image -- is this possible. I haven't been able to find anything about this. Thanks for any help! Kim
