Hi, sorry for my english 🙂 My question/problem: In InDesign I can see those inner padding/margin lines I'm missing them in Affinity Publisher - or do I have to activate them in the settings? Thanks in advance Rainer

Hello all, I have created a Publisher document in A4 format and then placed and scaled it in an A3 document. The page box is "Bleedbox". On the right outer side there is a rotated text frame, which is about 4.5 mm from the right document edge in the Publisher document. If I export this document as a PDF, this text frame is suddenly directly at the edge of the page, right at the bleed. Here is a screenshot: I have attached the two documents. Is it possible in Affinity Designer to change the colour of the box after changing to Textframe? That would be a nice function for me.

I have done multiple pages of adding text to text frames by copy/paste from a Word document with no problem that the text frame is invisible when I do a preview. After I made a table in my AP document, the text frame remains around my content, in subsequent paragraphs and pages. The following screenshot shows a paragraph before the table, and several paragraphs after the table which illustrates the problem. How do I get rid of the unwanted frame around the content below the table?

Beim Versuch einen Textrahmen aufzuziehen stürzt Affinity Designer ab. Das Gleiche passiert bei Grafiktext. Sobald man versucht mit der Mouse zu ziehen schliesst sich der Designer sofort. Affinity Designer crashes when trying to draw a text frame. The same happens with graphic text. As soon as you try to drag with the mouse the designer closes immediately. Win 10 Designer 1.8.3.641

When pasting in some text from an email Publisher suddenly starts to behave strangely, ignoring the boundaries of the textframe. InDesign is working as expected. This is what's happening in Publisher: It behaves normally in InDesign:

Version 1.7.0.227, Mac OS Mojave Recurring problem: I create a text frame and fill it with text. Then I shrink the text frame so that text overflows. As soon as I click on the red triangle and draw a new text frame with it, the text appears in the new/second frame in far too large a format. Previous formatting e.g. 14 pt and in the new text frame 50 pt. This error is reproducible and appears in several of my documents. If I then mark the entire text in both text frames and apply the original format (e.g. 14 pt) with the help of a text style, the text in the first text frame becomes very small (e.g. 2.9 pt). Here are two screenshots with before and after.

I'm just working my first half an hour with Affinity Designer, but I'm just missing an option to divide floating text into two or more columns. This should be made possible either with combined textframes, paragraph style or textframe options.
