  1. In Master Page text frame trying to constrain Drop Cap to first paragraph only. When Master Page is applied all paragraphs begin with a Drop Cap. What are the steps to have the Drop Cap applied to only the first paragraph?
  2. The "Apply [stylename] and..." options in the Text Styles panel include one that clears text formatted via character style. There doesn't seem to be an option that clears text formatted by hand—"hard" formatting, without use of a named character style. I've tried all of the options to see what they would do and none clears that kind of local formatting. Does Publisher have any other command (after the fashion of MS-Word's and other programs' Control+Spacebar) that returns highlighted text to the current paragraph style's default underlying characteristics?
  3. Hello, I have installed the new version of 1.8 for all of my Affinity product. However, the moment I press enter to go to the next line the text format changes ?? such a weird behavior after installing the update. The file is attached maybe someone can take a look at it. You can take a look at the video as well. Is it a bug or maybe I am doing something wrong ? Thank you, text-frame-bug.mp4 text-frame-bug.afdesign
  4. Summary: When formatting text that had multiple font versions (e.g. Helvetica that has Light, Light Oblique, Regular, Regular Oblique, Bold and Bold Oblique) the font chosen gets changed to the wrong version in the dropdown. When I am using Helvetica and I click the Bold button, the software thinks i also clicked the Italic button. When I try to click the Italic button off. It will not let me. Steps to Reproduce: Make a document and try to format text with a font such as Helvetica. Hit the Bold button. Expected Results: The font is only made bold. Actual Results: The Font is made bold and italicized as well as the dropdown for the font version is changed to Bold Oblique even though only the Bold button was hit. SW: Affinity Publisher Beta 1.7.0.145 Computer: Macbook Pro Mid 2014 running MacOS 10.13.6
