  1. Whenever I want to search for some photos in the Stock panel I get the message "Connection Failed", because I can't define the settings for authentification. Is it planned that there will be preferences for this?
  2. In the stock panel we list a selection of stock image providers for the convenience of our customers on the basis of it being a free service. Unfortunately in the case of Unsplash they have begun demanding license fees for their API which is the reason they have been removed. The good news is this only affects Unsplash, the other options of Pixbay and Pexels continue to be available. Of course should you wish to use Unsplash images you can download directly from their website using a browser and then import into your Affinity apps by drag & drop or File -> Place, as you would with any other stock library not listed in the panel.
  3. This was an old bug that looks to have returned. Photo Version - 1.9.1.979 Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Version 20H2 OS Build 19042.804 Steps to reproduce: Create any document. Search for a photo in the stock panel from any provider. Drag and drop into document causes hard crash 100% of the time. It appears this bug returned upon the update of Windows to 19042.804. Previous to that update this bug cannot be reproduced in Affinity Photo.
  4. I would like to be able to search my own photos of textures held on a local drive on my W10 PC in a similar way that one can view and use stock photos. I have searched the Forum and training vids but can't see how to do it. The Library and Asset functions in Studio don't seems relevant here. In Photoshop one could have then in a panel just like the Stock photos are in AP and then drag and drop them onto the work area as a layer. Is there anything similar in AP that would allow this drag and drop approach?
  5. Offering Stock Images is a great feature. When using Unsplash as source the Copyright Credits pop up as Info. Would be perfect to streamline the production process by generating an automatic text object with this credit content. Up to now I have to make a screenshot quickly before it desappears. Maybe as an option checkbox directly in the top area of the stock panel? If checked, Object will be generated in the center of the picture on top of it. PowerPoint 2019 has solve it already like that. After selecting content from an online source and inserting it into a PowerPoint slide an additional editable object below the picture with copyright credits appears. Thanks.
  6. I have tried to retrieve images from Unsplash through the Stock panel in Publisher several times and repeatedly get the message "Connection Failed." I can however use the link to go to the website. This problem also exists in Affinity Photo. Is there a fix for this? Unsplash has undoubtedly better images and a larger selection. While downloading from their website is not such a big problem, it does complicate the workflow and I believe solving that was the point of including the Stock panel feature.
  7. I checked the available options for the Stock Panel in Affinity Photo and can only see "shutter stock" as available. It would be wonderful if there were many more than just one option. One addition I would like is for Story Blocks images database to be included as well. Here is the link to Story Blocks: https://www.storyblocks.com/stock-image I have included an attachment of the Stock Panel to show you what I am referring to. If anyone else has requests for image databases to be included, please list them here to avoid unnecessary duplicate threads expanding on this feature.
  8. Using the Stock Panel. According to AP Help: “The panel acts as an in-app image browser which connects to one of several photo providers (e.g. Shutter stock ).”. (The bold italics are my own). In the case of my panel ‘several’ reminds of my very fashionable wife. “I will wear any colour so long as it’s black!”. The choice appears to be Shutterstock, Shutterstock or …… Shutterstock! The drop down offers no other options at all! Is this correct or is something missing from my installation? There are no controls I can find for this panel that might allow the addition of other libraries or suppliers. A panel confined to one single supplier seems to be somewhat limited in its usefulness ........... :( ........... so am I missing something here? Is there a way I can add the URL’s of my own libraries to this panel? Thanks for any help.
