I would like to open some ARW-Files from my Sony Alpha 7 IV in Affinity Photo 2 (2.2.1 on macOS 14.1). But 20% from the foto series, only shows a black picture after opening in Affinity Photo. The "black-files" can be opened normal in macOS Preview and in Photos. Is there a way or a workaround to open these ARW-Files? The only indicator ore differenc betwene thes files are the size. The corrupted RAWs are bigger (71-96 MB) than the working ones (39-42 MB). Black_A7400091.ARW Black_A7400100.ARW OK_A7400001.ARW OK_A7400024.ARW

Hi I just picked up an A7RC -- it suited my needs. I was shooting in HEIF and compressed RAW ---Affinity photo 2 my preferred editor wouldn't open the RAW files ( but the file did in Luminar NEO) and would give me weird artifacts with HEIFs sometime displaying a double image ( They opened without a problem in Darkroom). I changed the RAW editor in settings to APPLE not Serif and it still didn't work-- any thoughts? Is the camera too recent? Thank you

Hi, I am having heavy problems with crashes using this app (1.8.6.198) on my iPad Pro (12,9 Zoll, 3. Generation) 256GB. When I edit portraits, I have constantly crashes at least 5-10 crashes per photo edit. I open the raw file the first 10 minutes or so run prematurely good but then it starts to crash almost every 1 to 3 minutes. I even started to flatten the image almost after every step of my edit when using layers but it mostly does not hinder the app from crashing. The heaviest amount of crashes I had was 3 days ago where I had at least 20 crashes until the photo was finished! This is very, very annoying and in my opinion not acceptable. There is also a bug with the frequency separation function. After selecting it, it does not show the value selection screen, only after clicking FS the second time from the menu the value screen is shown! I hope you can provide help with this! thanks1

I have just got a Sony alpha 6600 with the kit lens 18-135. When I open the raw files in Affinity, the pictures are extremely dark. If I increase the exposure, the highlights are completely blown out. If I open the file in other viewers, the exposure is fine. Since I am new to Affinity, maybe I missing a setting or something? I don't see the lens in the list of supported lenses. Is that the problem? I am attaching a file. DSC00221.ARW
