  1. I created a document yesterday on my D:\ saved everything throughout the evening with no complications then saved and closed it for the night. I re-opened the document today and created one page, then saved my progress as usual but this time I was prompted with an error which then closes the entire program and I lost the progress I've made. The file location hasn't changed overnight, it's housed on a secondary HDD of my (less than 3 month old) computer. I tried to move the document to my external drive and work from there, but I get the same error message when saving. Please see the attached image for reference. I don't recall ever having this sort of issue with Affinity Publisher in the past and I'm very confused on what I should do and if I've lost all of my work. I'm using version: 1.9.2.1035 Don't judge the file name, lol. I'm working on a project for my D&D Campaign.
  2. I've had an intermittent problem with Designer V2 not saving on the iPad. I noticed shortly after V2 came out that auto-save didn't always work, so I've been manually saving my files every 20 to 30 minutes. I lost 3+ hours of work on an illustration today that I saved manually probably half a dozen times. When I opened it again all of my work was gone. I looked at the file in the folder and it said that the last time it was saved was several hours before, which was the first time I saved after creating the file. So frustrating! I've found V2 much buggier than V1. I hope this gets fixed or I'm going to have to stop using it and I really don't want to do that.
  3. I have this problem with all of my Affinity software. I make a project in V2 and save it to my computer (Windows), then in my computer files it is saved as V1 and tries to open with Affinity V1 (which it always fails to do). I've looked in my settings and preferences and I'm unsure what is causing this to happen. It means that I can only open my files by first opening a V2 program and searching for the file within the program (i.e. Open > Pick the file). It's causing a bit of an efficiency problem for me. I can only think it might be because I still have the V1 version of Affinity suite on the laptop that I'm using. Will I have to delete the V1 suite or is there a setting option I'm missing?
  4. I quite often experience an issue when a file saved in Designer isn't, I guess "isn't properly saved". Meaning that the thumbnail of the .afdesign isn't updated, likewise if the document is linked in Photo the file isn't recognised as being modified in the Resource Manager and no notification is given from Photo. In Finder if get info on the .afdesign file the file is modified at the correct time. So it would seem that the file must be saved corrected on disk. I've tried Save as... with he same filename to force a change. Still the same. But if I close the .afdesign file and reopen it, the changes made are no longer there. They are lost. The only work-around I've found is to save the file with new name. Additional information, I am saving into the app folder Affinity Designer on iCould Drive. Affinity Designer 2.0.4
  5. I've been using the Affinity suite for over a year now and never encountered an issue. However a few days ago I went to save a piece of work and it just ...wouldn't? No error appears and it doesn't crash. It just doesn't save the document. I've tried multiple pieces and even black canvases. When you click "save as" or control S then the little loading wheel comes up for a second then disappears and lets you continue but without saving. I'm not using a template and I'm not trying to save complicated documents for this. Does anyone know what's happening?
  6. It would be very useful to be able to save also the different sources used in the Focus Merge function, to be able to make the often necessary corrections (halos, alignment errors, ..) in multiple work sessions because it may not be possible to complete the work at the same time.
