  1. It would be good if there were (maybe there is, but I can't find it) a way to close a whole bunch of images in one go. Further, this should apply to RAW mode as well as JPEG or other. Lastly, when restarting, it should be possible to open from a completely clear situation. Currently I'm using a fairly slow iMac machine (about 5-6 times slower than my i7 based MBP), and RAW is killing it. Also I thought it was a neat idea to have more than one file open, butnow this is coming back to bite me. On exit I am asked either to Develop or Cancel, and having to do that for each one is a pain if all I want to do is abort. I can abort AP by using Force Quit, but on restart the program still seems to want to reload some previous files. Am I missing something? Sometimes just doing one or two tests on RAW is sufficient to realise that JPEG is good enough, and then one should be able to abort one or more open files without suffering a big performance/time hit.
  2. When using AD in Separated Mode, I can't get a previously saved document's window--that I've sized and positioned on the screen in the exact position I want it located relative to the Studio panels--to reopen in either the same position relative to the panels it was previously or at the same size that it was. Only the panels reappear in their former position (as I'm guessing their location information is attached to the application rather than a particular document). The first image below is what I want the screen setup to look like; the second shows what happens after quitting and reopening the document: How can I maintain the document window's identical position and size in the Separated view each time I reopen it?
  3. Sometimes (aprox. 20% of the time) i cant choose a tool from the toolbar, its mostly the type tool, but i use it the most so i am not sure if it happens with all the other tools too. Anyway, i simply cant choose the tool, it just stays at the given tool i was before. To solve this, i have to close the project (no need to close the whole app), then i just reopen the same project and everything works normally. I attached my screenrecord of this issue on my ipad pro. CA1FEAC6-90E6-4748-AE5D-1ABA8736B5F7.MOV
  4. It seems like all the files I worked on and closed without saving generate a "recovery file" what AP desperately wants to open on restart ... this drives me nuts since I tend to save my work but experiment with documents further on ... so I'll close them without saving the last steps and AP keeps bothering me on restart with wantig to open "recovery files" from theses documents ... Am I doing something wrong? How do I turn this of? A recovery file ist nice when the program has crashed ... but not each time I close a document without saving it!
  5. Hi, I'm new to Affinity Designer. I have a problem. When I open it for first time, I show the app normally. When I close it , the app still stay in the dock panel. But I click on it again, it doesn't appear back. Is this a bug or what? I don't want right click and quit it all the time like this. Please help. If my question is not clear to you, please check this video https://youtu.be/s2Gbi8vFFys
  6. Open two or three drawings Set Preferences, General to "Reopen document on Startup." Close and restart Affinity Designer Result: Only the first drawing is reopened. Expected: All two or three drawings to be reopened, and the active drawing to have focus. Ideally, like DrawPlus X8, the zoom level and position in each drawing would also be restored.
