I have "Force Pixel alignment" enabled. When I drag-and-drop a picture file (png or jpg) from explorer into a photo ducument, the file is not aligned to whole pixels. I have to release the mouse button, grab the file again and move it a little to force pixel alignment. I have "Move by whole Pixels" and "Snapping" disabled. If I had "Move by whole Pixels" enabled, the above workaround would not work, since "Move by whole Pixels" has higher priority then "Force Pixel alignment", thus moving the misaligned image by whole pixels to a new misaligned position (e.g. from 1498.2 px to 1500.2 px). There is a similar bug report on Designer 1, which seems not to be solved either: Regards Max1Josef

Each artboard resets rulers to a 0,0 position in the top left. So even if an artboard is not pixel aligned, the ruler implies it is. The pixel grid is even shown correctly, but the vector objects on such artboards are rasterised off-pixel. It seems logical that the pixel alignment is document wide. However, with an (accidental) off-pixel artboard position, it can be tricky to diagnose the problem if you don't know this is the case. That is because all clues — except for the artboard position, which you don't see when you don't activate the artboard tool — signal that the pixel alignment is correct. 2023-03-22 10-55-44.mp4 Steps to reproduce Create a new document with pixels as units (e.g. 24x24 pixels wide) Create a new artboard Create a shape on the artboard Align the shape to be pixel perfect (e.g. X=10px, Y=10px, w=6px h=6px) Go to View > View Mode > Pixel - to turn on pixel preview Move the artboard position in 0.1 px increments Notice how the shape is now incorrectly rasterised, despite the transform studio stating that its position is pixel perfect. Expected result The Pixel view could resets the rasterisation to be aligned with the artboard's internal origin for each artboard when the artboards are not touching/ overlapping. Or, show a message warning message (a yellow triangle like in the pre-flight panel) on the artboard name when the artboard is not aligned to the pixel grid.

Hi, I use Designer for creating isometric pixel art by enabling the pixel alignment, disabling whole pixel movement and forcing the anti-aliasing off. However, I noticed with the recent update that although it doesn't affect the outcome due to the anti-aliasing being turned off, the pixel alignment is snapping to ##.9 rather than ##.0. I can't get it to stop. Is there a way to fix this or is it a bug? I know that Designer 1 series didn't do this. Thanks. James
