  1. Hi, I am a novice with this software so apologies if I am not explaining myself properly. But as an example of the issue I am having I have currently added a lens blur layer to my photo, I have then inverted it and I am painting in the areas I want to be blurred. But when I get near to the edge of a object a strange effect is appearing. I.E if I paint near to a darker edge it seems to be pulling the colour over almost creating a shadow affect and visa versa with lighter objects. I have attached a couple of photos to help explain, I have seen this effect when I have been painting with other effects not just the lens blur. Any advise as to what is happening here and how I can clear this up would be appreciated.
