    1.9 crashes and sometimes I have to switch off pc and restart the programme. It happens most often when processing Astrophotography images. When image converted 32 bit to 16 bit to apply medium filter to extract background and convert to 32 bit it stops working. This has occurred 3 times now. Is this a known issue and if so is there guidance on how to prevent future crashes.
