  1. Hi, anyone else use Affinity photo and quite often the canvas locks onto the mouse and follows it everywhere as if pan mode is permanently on? The only fix is to close the program down and open it again. I haven't been able to reproduce but it seems to happen when saving and the spacebar is pressed while the save occurs. Again though, it's not a 100% reproducible bug. Windows 10.
  2. I like to set the top button on my stylus to pan for my Wacom. It will actually go up and down fine but it wont pan left or right. Any ideas about this? Also I'm using a Intos4 if you needed to know.
  3. Hi, Im completely new to the software this week but all of a sudden last night, after everything has been working fine, and ever since whenever I open any image it keeps panning off the screen to the right. Restart does nothing, full reboot does nothing. I can click and drag it back to the center of the screen but as soon as i keep my mouse stationary or depress the mouse it continues to start moving off screen to the right again. I literally cant find any settings anywhere that I can understand would cause this. I have ran virus scans, checked my hardware checked on the forum and this is the closest I can find to the issue Please help! I have attached some snapshots (split from this related thread)
  4. Prior to 1.6, it was possible (at least on the Mac) to start dragging an element with the trackpad and then pan around the workspace. The AFDesigner 1.6 release notes included "Improved pan/zoom performance". Could that be the culprit? Please consider reinstating the ability to drag and pan. Thank you!
  5. I don't have an Apple Magic Mouse or track pad, so I have to pan the view port by keeping the space bar pressed and clicking + dragging the document's content around using a regular mouse. This works fine when a document is freshly opened and nothing has been changed, yet. However, once you add a new object things change to the following behavior: when the mouse cursor gets near any window border of the edited document some automatic panning kicks in that quickly moves the view port to the exact opposite direction. Since I use Affinity Designer in separated window mode this happens very often.
  6. I kind of like the flick panning in Photoshop. Any plans for this in AD or AP? It's nice and smooth.
  7. I've got a pixel artboard and I'm zooming into 400% and can't edit artwork off the artboard, as AD restricts the panning to a space around the artboard only. It seems AD locks you out of a % of space around the artboard when zooming in, so I can only see the artwork when zoomed out, when zoomed in, I can only pan around the artboard for a limited distance.
  8. I frequently open these palettes to edit the stroke profile while working, and the palettes end up covering what I'm working on. Using spacebar to pan the canvas to a new position — without dismissing the palettes — would be super helpful. Side note bug report: with both of these palettes open (the stroke editor and the stroke profile editor), if you command-tab to another application, those palettes do not close, but remain visible on top of the new application.
  9. Is there a way to turn off panning with the magic mouse? Makes it a tad difficult when trying to make precise edits and can hold down the space bar when I need quick access to the hand tool. Thanks.
