When I try to change the fill color opacity of a text frame in Apub, the color changes from white to black. When I get to zero opacity it finally shows zero opacity. I found a bug in the opacity slider of a Live Lighting when pushed to 0%. The screen shows strange artifacts. It only happens at 0%, all other values are good. Win 10, AMD Ryzen 7 2700 Eight-Core Processor, 3200 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s), Nvidia GTX 1660

Affinity Designer V2. In the top menu color/gradient fill menu. Opacity/noise slider has no numeric indication of value. Behaviour is not consistent with color window. Please add this.

Frosted Glass with Affinity Photo I saw an Adobe Photoshop tutorial similar to this, so I thought I would try it in Affinity Photo. It is a frosted glass look. https://youtu.be/411eLqLJXA8

When you want to apply opacity to a text frame, you must do it guessing, because the opacity handler does not have numeric indicator for the percentage nor field to place the percentage manually. It should have one, so we don't have to calculate the transparency by where the slider is visually.

Adding a mask to a layer/group will multiply the end result's opacity by itself, since the mask inherits the opacity; so a 50% opacity layer/group will look like 25% opacity if a mask is added. In the attached file, the right layer and group are given a mask, and as such they look half as opaque as on the left (because 50% * 50% = 25%). (And the more masks you add, the less opaque it will end up being (so long as the opacity is not 100%), because each of them will inherit the opacity) Alpha Bug.afdesign

Hey y'all! Ever since the update to 1.8 the way the opacity slider acts on mask layers changed. I can try to explain it using words, but I made some screenshots to show you what changed. As you can see in the last two panes; the way the opacity slider behaved in the new and old version changed completely. Now, I now that applying different shades of gray on the mask can achieve the same thing (which I used to make this example) but I loved how the slider worked in the previous version. Especially when using various degrees of grey on the mask. With the slider you controlled the entire mask. Anyone know how to fix it or a workaround? Or should I hope it'll be patched in the next update? Thanks!

When the layer opacity slider is opened please hide the object's bounding box. Once the slider is opened the space bar does not work to hide the bounding box. Every time I have to close the slider, press and hold the space, then reopen the opacity slider. It would be so much easier if the bounding box disappeared automatically as it does with most functions. 2nd choice, make it so the space bar was functional when the slider was open. Thank you.
