Hi, I have a question about the opacity of objects in Affinity Photo. The attached screenshot shows all the layers of a test file. There are no adjustments or effects set. Every layer is set to 100% opacity and Normal blend mode. The ellipse was added last and moved to the bottom layer. But as you will see, the rectangle (red) and pixel layer (green) are not 100% opaque. I am wondering what I have missed in trying to make them so. Many thanks for any answers, Geof
I’ve had this issue for some time and always assumed it was user error. With the Move Tool, I select an object and go to it’s properties. When I type in the desired opacity with the app’s keypad, the opacity setting reverts to 100% and the object’s opacity remains unchanged. (See video.) If I move the opacity slider down a bit and THEN type, the dial-in opacity will work. If I have an object selected with the Node Tool, the same issue occurs. I’m not sure if that is by design though. I'm experiencing a weird flashing and distortion issue when using the Perspective Tool. When an image layer is selected and the Perspective tool is active while adjusting the Opacity in Layers, there is a shuddering distortion and flashing of the image when sliding the Opacity slider at the same time. Also occurs when using the Warp Mesh Tool I cannot capture this behavior in a screen shot.
